SAFB has voted to approve a new member, and she was confirmed by Student Council before winter break.
Amanda Akers, a sophomore, joined SAFB to to add a listening voice from the students. She believes the more representation of listening students, the more closely our allocations will represents the desires of the student body. Further, she acknowledges that not everybody is going to be happy and says that we have to use our spending to represent the student body. She is involved with Women’s Christian Campus House, in sisterhood and outreach roles, and has served as an opening week mentor.
